Da sich vor meiner Tür keine Birke findet, habe ich mir selbst eine gestrickt – wie war noch dieses alte Lied? “Sisters are doin’ it for themselves”? Danke, Annie Lennox… 😀 (falls jemand Interesse an der Birke hat, schreibe ich eine Anleitung)

Wie der Zufall es so wollte, hatte ich sogar mein Maifeuer vor dem Fenster – auch, wenn es nur der Nachbar war, der Gartenabfälle verbrannte 🙂
According to chance I even had a bonfire before my window – even if it was just the neighbour burning garden waste …
A propos “Stricken”: Mein aktuelles WIP, der Shalom Cardigan, ist fast fertig. Die Herstellung hat mit der ursprünglichen Anleitung nach dreimaligem Aufribbeln nun nur noch die Form und das Passen-Muster gemeinsam, aber nichtsdestrotrotz: Ich freue mich riesig darauf, ihn zu tragen!
BTW “knitting”: My actual wip, the shalom Cardigan, is almost done – just 10 rows or so to go. The way it turned out, after three times of ribbeling, doesn’t have much from the orignial pattern save for the idea and the pattern of the top part, but nevertheless: I’m really really looking forward to wear it.
Gleich geht es auf zu Burg Satzvey – als ich vor zwei Tagen durch Zufall dort landete, stand da eine Ankündigung für den heutigen Hexenmarkt. Ich bin gespannt … Aber da sogar das Wetter gerade aufklart, kann es nur schön werden 🙂
Now I’m off to Castle Satzvey, where I have been mislead by my car navigation system two days ago. While being there I read about a ‘withces market’ today … so I’m really curious about it. But as even weather is lighting up, it can’t become other than a fine, finde day 🙂
